Support Finder helps connect individuals and families living in the Darling and Western Downs with the right professional support services.
Starting with the Support Finder Card in 2017, the initiative has grown from a card and A4 sticker to a website, allowing us to expand available resources further.
In late 2021, an A4 sticker was launched in several service delivery organisations in the Darling Downs, including:
- Police stations
- High schools
- Hospitals
- Medical centres
Sponsored by Safer Toowoomba Regional Partnerships Inc (STRP), Queensland Police, Suicide Prevention Network, Lifeline Darling Downs, Toowoomba Regional Council and several support agencies, Support Finder supplies a range of up-to-date contacts, relevant resources and services for trauma situations, critical care and stressful environments.
These agencies include:
- Police
- Queensland health services
- High schools
- Mental health services
- Domestic violence services
- Prominent NGO services
- Queensland Ambulance Services
At Support Finder, we supply a variety of 24 hour support numbers and up-to-date knowledge of relevant resources available in the Toowoomba and greater Darling Downs Community.
